Join the FACC team for Le Networking, the most popular Women-Only Event!
Business women meet quarterly for breakfast to share their professional experience and their relationship with France.
This time, we will be pleased to welcome guest speaker Chiyo Ishikawa, Curator of the Seattle Art Museum. She will talk about the upcoming special exhibition "Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris" which will be on show from October 8, 2010 to January 9, 2011.
Chiyo Ishikawa, SAM’s Susan Brotman Deputy Director for Art & Curator of European Painting and Sculpture, has been with the museum since 1990. She is now the curator in Seattle for Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris.
Dr. Ishikawa is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of History of Art at the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to her appointment at the Museum, she worked in the Department of European Painting at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and in the Department of Paintings Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This Le Networking event will also be the perfect opportunity for us to introduce our next event, a private tour of the Picasso exhibit (free, for members only), which will be held at the Seattle Art Museum in October.
Come and enjoy a breakfast with organic French croissants, pains au chocolat, fruit juice, coffee, yogurts and more while listening to this amazing guest speaker!
