The Network of Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs (NYPE) was created in early 2011 to respond to a need of the Chamber's to offer a special membership level for younger members (21 to 35) of the community.
NYPE Membership costs only $50 per year, and includes the same benefits as an Individual Membership ($100):
The Chamber also organizes special "NYPE" events in addition to the variety of social, business and networking events it organizes throughout the year.

Julie Voss became a NYPE Member in July 2011. Three months after, she met her current employer at the NYPE Happy Hour !

Julie Voss:
I met my current coworkers during the first NYPE networking event that was held at Margaux. When I first moved to Seattle, I was looking for an internship in the field of sales and marketing. As I was a NYPE member I heard about the networking happy hour and thought that it would be a great opportunity to meet new people and make business contacts. Actually, I met the DOSM for Warwick Seattle Hotel during the event and we exchanged business cards. After several conversations and interviews, I was offered the position of sales coordinator for Warwick Seattle Hotel and Margaux. I am now working with the NYPE on the next networking happy hour at Margaux. I really enjoy my job and am very happy that I attended this event.
Richard Oh - Director of Sales, Warwick Seattle Hotel:
"The NYPE Networking events were very beneficial for Warwick Seattle Hotel and Margaux because of our great find (Julie). I mean the whole purpose of the NYPE Networking event is to do just that….network and opening new doors. Huge positive point is that every attendee there is motivated enough to take time off their busy schedule and go out and meet their local peers. As a company, if they’re motivated enough to go out and seek new peers, why wouldn’t you hire them? Especially when it comes to sales. Not only are you selling for your company, but you’re also selling yourself (I might “sell” for Warwick, but at that same time I’m selling “my name and who I am”; who knows I might get hired by a big time company because of who I am and not who I work for)."
As part of the services offered with the NYPE membership, the FACCPNW is proud to feature its newest NYPE members, should they wish to participate, in its monthly Newsletter and on this webpage:
