Through luncheons and other programs, the Chamber serves as a forum for members to discuss areas of mutual interest and to exchange ideas and information with guests from all sectors of the business world. Thus, the Chamber acts as an important liaison between the French and American business communities. The Chamber maintains links with French governmental representatives as well as other French cultural and exchange associations in the Northwest. The luncheon meetings, which are conducted in English, feature distinguished French or American speakers from both government and business sectors.
Jack Cowan, Executive Director of the French-American Chamber of Commerce was interviewed by the Publication des Services Economiques, for the June French-American economic and trade newsletter.

In May 2011, the FACCPNW hosted a delegation from Leroy Merlin, major French worldwide home-improvement and gardening retailer, part of the ADEO group.
The delegation was in Seattle for four days on an educational trip to study best practices of major companies in the United States with a focus on Sustainable Development and multi-channel Marketing and Customer Relations. Seattle was the perfect fit for the visit being that the city is renowned for its substantial economic activity and its cluster of cutting-edge companies in diverse industries.

• Issuing a detailed report of each visit to be forwarded along with recommendations on the final selection of a partner
This includes a service that concerns any research conducted on the premises. It finalizes the contacts with local companies who are willing to discuss a project of industrial cooperation. (Transfer of technology, joint venture, etc.)
