Le Networking Celebrates French Food Entrepreneurship in PNW
In successful relaunch of Le Networking Committee, panelists from La Parisienne French Bakery, Paris-Madrid Grocery and Wild Peaks Chocolate discussed what it is like to be an entrepreneur in the food business in Seattle.
On Wednesday February 26, a gourmet group of 40+ members of the FACC-PNW, joined by local professionals and Francophones, gathered to celebrate French food entrepreneurship in the Pacific Northwest.
Elise Morin from La Parisienne French Bakery, Sharon Baden from Paris-Madrid Grocery and Anne-Laure Ropars from Wild Peaks Chocolates shared their entrepreneurial stories, their challenges and their successes. It was captivating to learn their behind-the-scene stories and their anecdotes about striving for success as women in a dynamic and competitive market. The mood was energetic and fun, and the panel was led by Lucie BROOKS, a member of Le Networking's organizing committee. Attendees had a lot of questions for our three food entrepreneurs leading to a lively discussion on food and life.
After this rich exchange, attendees had a chance to taste some delicious artisan chocolates (pralinés) from Wild Peaks Chocolates, great French wines from Paris-Madrid Grocery, and perfect sweet and savory treats from La Parisienne French Bakery.
It was sharing, networking and learning, all wrapped into an enjoyable, warm and delicious evening! Thank you to everyone who helped to plan the event and to everyone who attended or participated - it was an evening to remember!
