Le Networking in Portland Draws Large Crowd
This Tuesday, August 20th, thirty-five people attended the FACC-PNW Le Networking event at Cerulean Wine Bar in the Pearl in Portland. Attendees represented business interests in aerospace, technology, film/media, wine, education, specialty retail, and many other sectors. FACC-PNW Board Member and Verbio Group CEO Virginia Joplin, who lead a popular ice-breaker during the first part of the event, called it "a very good turnout." The special guest at the event was Jack Cowan, the Executive Director of the FACC-PNW and the honorary consul of France for Washington State.
Often branded in invitations as "networking with a French twist," Le Networking aspires to connect Francophones and Francophiles in the Pacific Northwest. This event was co-sponsored by the Alliance Française de Portland and is part of a series of Le Networking events hosted in Portland on a quarterly basis. These events are advertised in our monthly e-newsletters, on our social media, and on event websites such as Eventbrite and NextDoor. If you are interested in being notified about the next Portland event, please email info@faccpnw.org.
