The only choir in Seattle dedicated primarily to singing in French
Founded in Sept. 2024 by Ellen Taft, Nicholas Renaud and 20 singers, La Chorale Francophone (LCFS) is a non-auditioned community chorale singing songs from all the Francophone countries of the world. With an eclectic repertoire including jazz, classical, medieval and popular songs, LCFS sings songs in standard French and in French dialects; particularly Québecois and Haitian. LCFS sings at French Fest, performs concerts twice a year with performances in Kirkland and Seattle and at Folklife. Taft has been an Individual member of the FACC for nearly 20 years - we are grateful for her loyalty and thrilled to see her entrepreneurship shine!
