Jean-Noel Poirier is CEO of Verde Technologies, a U.S.-based company developing high-efficiency perovskite solar cells on flexible substrates for space applications. Verde’s technology combines high efficiency, radiation tolerance, low weight, high specific power, and flexibility, and is manufactured using a scalable roll-to-roll process.

Jean-Noel is a former Honeywell global executive and has extensive experience commercializing emerging solar technologies through leadership roles at First Solar and Global Solar Energy. He also brings significant clean-tech investment experience from leadership and venture partner roles at Clean Energy Venture Group and Meliorate Partners. 

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and bachelor’s degrees in Applied Economics and Management Sciences from Paris Dauphine University. A dual French-American citizen, he has extensive international experience, having lived and worked across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
