Joe Baldwin is a Sr. Account Manager representing EDU team in North America. As a leader there, he is responsible for a number of large strategic universities and research institutions. Joe loves connecting the rapidly evolving ecosystem of higher education and research with the leadership and technology of Dassault Systems.

Joe joined Dassault Systèmes in 2011 as the latest chapter in his 25+ year career in simulation technology.  His office is located in the DS America’s headquarters in Waltham, MA.

Joe holds both BS and MS engineering degrees from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He started his professional engineering career at GE Power Systems Division in their Edison Engineering Program, eventually focusing on finite element analysis of gas turbine and jet engine components. He moved into the FEA commercial software world in 1985, since then has been supporting business with scores of leading Aerospace, Defense, Engineered Materials, and Engineering Consulting companies.  

Joe is an avid amateur photographer and is also a licensed pilot who serves as a command pilot volunteer with both Patient Airlift Services (PALS) and Angel Flight New England.
