About this Event

The Seattle region was the epicenter of COVID-19 pandemic, first to respond, and now first to recover.

Learn the Story Behind the Story:

  • How UW Virology pioneered high through-put testing with drive-through sampling. How that testing will remain pivotal in managing COVID-19 going forward.
  • How testing, contact tracing, and computational modeling will help the region emerge from the crisis.

This webinar will feature experts in our region speaking to our unfortunate location as the first COVID cases in the US, our unique capabilities to cope with the pandemic, and our hopes for successful steps toward recovery as our health numbers improve.  There is much we do not know about this virus but you are invited to spend an hour with these experts next week to hear an informed discussion on what we do know and what we have to do now.
