Wave Collective Inaugural Networking Event

Over 50 French-speaking and Francophile women turned out for the WAVE Collective's inaugural event on January 25. The event was a great opportunity for women to make new connections, share experiences, and support one another in their professional journeys.

This event brought the community together for the first time, introduced WAVE’s mission and goals for 2024, and collected insights to help better suit the community's needs. The guest of honor, Nickie Smith, founder of the Be Bold for Change non-profit, reminded women of the power they hold in supporting and uplifting each other in their personal and professional endeavors. Nickie encouraged attendees to advocate for change through initiatives like the WAVE Collective. To honor this commitment in the coming months, the Collective will host workshops, coffee chats, panel discussions, and a mentoring program!
