Bringing a French connection to Broadway!
Simon Lhopiteau, French art historian and dealer, recently launched a gallery offering consultancy based on his expertise in painting, drawing, and sculpture in the major’s avant-garde of the XX century. Simon holds a Master’s degree from the Ecole Du Louvre, Paris and a PhD in Art history from Paris- Sorbonne Université (2005) focused on Pierre Daret’s artist (XVII century). He intentionally built a strong background on Italian Renaissance (Ecole du Louvre) & on the XVII century French Art, to deeply understand the artistic roots of the XX century avant-gardes. Following a variety of professional experiences in Parisian galleries, he founded the GALERIE ORSAY PARIS in 2005 located in Paris in Saint-Germain- des-Prés, specializing in XX century modern art.
Mr. Lhopiteau is a member of the SHAF (French Art History Society) and routinely participated in the Fine Arts Paris fair. He has been recognized by CNE as a certified expert for more than two decades.
In Seattle, the gallery is located in the famous Loveless Building at the north end of Broadway’s commercial strip.
