Marc OnettoFACC Seattle-PNW Member since 2007

Marc, originally French, is based in Seattle and Sun Valley, Idaho. He is now retired after serving in senior management positions in major US companies. His last position was SVP Operations and Customer Service at Amazon.com. 

Marc has been an active member of the Seattle Yacht Club for 18 years. Marc is an experienced cruiser of the Inside Passage between Seattle and Southeast Alaska on his former boat a Marlow Explorer 61E and his new boat a Marlow Explorer 70E. He has cruised all over our region from Haida Gwaii to Skagway and has even reached Idaho by cruising up the Columbia and the Snake rivers all the way to Lewiston.

He named his boat Lapérouse after a famous French captain who explored the Pacific Northwest coasts from Alaska to California in 1786. 

Marc will share with us the adventures of Captain Lapérouse along our shores using extracts of his logbook and combining it with new AI technology to make the historical scenes alive again.
