About the Seattle Event

Beaujolais Nouveau wine is released at midnight each year on the third Thursday of November. Its arrival as the first wine of the harvest sparks worldwide celebrations. We host simultaneous events in Seattle and in Portland on the third Friday of November to commemorate this special tradition. Both events take place on November 22, 2019 this year.

We will host Seattle’s 27th annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival at the Columbia Tower Club in downtown Seattle, our 10th anniversary at this iconic venue. Guests associate the Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival with elegant buffets, full wine glasses, and a cheerful camaraderie that entices many attendees to return to the celebration year after year. We invite you to attend the event to experience for yourself a night of the French joie de vivre. Join over 400 professionals representing fortune 500 companies, trendsetters, Francophones, and more. General admission to the event includes live music, divine food, a silent auction, raffles, and a large selection of French and local wines. Discerning guests can select VIP tickets to be treated to special hors d'oeuvres, a curated wine selection, and private seating in the VIP room.

Beyond creating a fun atmosphere to celebrate French culture, this event represents our organization’s most important annual fundraiser. As a small, binational non-profit, our mission is to develop and improve economic, commercial, and financial relations between France and the United States through our members and partnerships. All funds raised at this event directly benefit our mission by supporting our staff, our J-1 interns, and our community engagement. Follow us on Facebook @BeaujolaisSeattle for up-to-date information about the Seattle event. For more information about the Portland event, see our Portland event page or send us an email. We hope to see you on November 22!
